Charlie Comeau is a 2029 top softball catcher that plays for the Firecrackers Premier RTY Premier 16U Select team. In 2026 her previous team played in the National Power Pool. Charlie also plays for the 18U Team South America for the TCIC Challenge where she was named an all-star. Charlie plays high school ball at Crean Lutheran in Irvine, CA where she serves as the team captain for the varsity team and where she earned all county top performer honors in all offensive statistical categories. Charlie was selected by USA softball for their High Performance Program and will compete in this program in Vero Beach, FL in December of 2026.
Charlie has exceptional blocking skills, strong framing techniques, and a pop-time to 2nd base of 1.60 seconds. Her quick reflexes mitigate past balls and allow for successful pickoff attempts at all bases.
A middle of the lineup hitter, Comeau hits for power and posts a strong OPS while driving in a lot of runs. Charlie hits for power to all parts of the field with homeruns to left, center, and right. Comeau hits for power based on where she is pitched.

In the Spring, Charlie plays high school ball at Crean Luther High School (her jersey is #3) in Irvine, where she was the starting varsity catcher as a Freshman. A third of the way through the season, Charlie was named Team Captain on Crean’s Varsity squad as a freshman. Charlie made All-League 1st team honors and achieved the leaderboard for hitting in all offensive categories throughout the entire season via the OC Register for Orange County California.
She will continue to play travel ball with the Firecrackers RTY 16U Select team once the dark season is over.
Charlie has a strong knowledge of the game, exceptional work ethic, and good character. She is a great teammate that shows up early to ensure she, her team, and their field are ready and prepared for the game. Comeau leads by example, but as a catcher, is vocal to ensure her teammates understand the situational aspect of the game. She works with her pitchers to get the very best out of each of them throughout the game.
Charlie is a 4.40 GPA student, enrolled in honors classes, that is interested in playing D1 softball. She is a creative, sarcastically funny, hard working, and caring young lady, coachable, and a great teammate.
